This years off road series will be a total of 11 races starting in May and going through September. Racers must make 9 out of the 11 races to qualify for plaques and awards. We will adjust series requirements if we loose any races due to weather and are unable to make those races up.

We have moved our summer racing to Sunday afternoons with the track opening at 2pm and racing starting at 3:30pm. Please be signed in by 3pm. If weather may effect that days race please check our home page for changes to start times in order to get the races in.

Class rules can be found here.

Schedule can be found here

Special event that will be part of the summer Sizzler Off Road series has approved.

Race # 7 for the summer Sizzler series for off road will be held at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds in Preston. Our event is the lead up to the mud bog that Saturday night.

How will this effect the series points? Well it may be a throw out for those that can't make it. But for those that can make it will be a double points race. Could be a great chance to make up points.

Date: Saturday July 31st
Time: Track will be open as early as we can for practice and will start racing about 11:00am-11:30am. I hope to run 2 rounds and mains. We are shooting to get the mains started by 3pm. We need to be done close to 5pm so the mud bog association can finish prep on there track.
Classes: Off Road
Electrical and pitting: There will not be electrical close to the track and would suggest being able to charge from your cars. There maybe some outlets some distance from the track. Bring pop ups and your own tables, will be pitting people around the track so feel free to set up where ever in the grandstand area.
Entry Fees: $20.00 First, $15.00 for second or more. This race will be for double point's but will also be a money race. We will be paying back top 3 in each class, top 5 if there is more then 12 in a class.
Plan on running all off road classes we run here during our regular events.

If anyone has time to come down early and help out racking jumps, placing cones or other little things it would be greatly appreciated. We will be bringing the pit lane for fueling cars, will be using cones and paint for marking the tracks layout. We will be be there about 8am building the last couple of jumps with hopes of being able to practice an hour before we race.

I have updated some of the info after speaking with the fair board.

I do need some help though or ideas from people. Drivers stand? At this time worse case is we will pile up a mound of dirt about 3-3 1/2' high and will stand on that. The fuel lane will be just in front of the mound and will more then likely obstruct some of the view of the front section maybe? Maybe put fuel lane behind mount? Or if any one has ideas that would be quick to set up(would need to be able to take down and have out in less then 1/2 hour) or have access to a flat bed semi trailer please let me know what you think can be done.

I'm also checking with the fair board about maybe using a portable bleacher backwards. Will post soon if this works.

Adam look into your option as a back up! Thank you.
