WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK ABOUT LIMITING THE FIG 8 RACE TO 1 MAIN RACE NO QUALIFIERS ... I WOULD PUT TOGETHER A CAR FOR IT BUT I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO KEEP UP ON THE BATTERY CHARGING....IF WE HAD ONE RACE A NIGHT WINNER TAKE ALL I THINK MORE PEOPLE WOULD ENTER,TO MUCH CARNAGE POSSIBLE WITH 3 RACES....JUST A THOUGHT...

I kind of think a figure 8 race should be the end of night event, after all the "real" racing is done. Your car will hopefully still be in one piece and it's time for some fun. That way if you get busted up in a foolish race like this it won't matter because the real races will be over with.

One race, make the odds of winning harder.

Plus if you hit someone hard, it will not matter since its the last race.

I do like the idea of doing it as one race to end the night because of the battery charging and just keeping up with the car.

But I disagree about it being just a foolish race and not real racing. I take my Figure-8 racing seriously. 8)

I'm bringing my fig car this weekend in hopes that we race because I won't be able to race the next 2 weeks after that.

So Everett, if you know how to use a computer and can see this message.......BRING YOUR TOURING CAR!!!!!

That way you can't complain when I beat you!

I had a blast last night even though there were only 2 of us. Bob and I were never more than a lap apart and Bob always stayed close enough so when I messed up he pounced. The lap I wish I could have back was when I launched my car out of the race track in turn 4. I had to whip the thing around on the cement and drive back on. It was a good win Bob and well worth the money.

I hope we can find a sponsor for this little event to add a bit of incentive.
